The RAVEn acts like an In Home Display on a ZigBee Smart Energy network. As soon as it is powered up by a USB port, it searches for ZigBee networks to connect to, connects to the authenticated network, and starts streaming energy data to the USB host. Best of all, the user interface is XML based which allows you to easily parse and display the data for your application. Our XML API is straightforward and does not require familiarity with other ZigBee networks.
The TOUCAN is a sniffer dongle that captures the ZigBee traffic for analysis. It works with the Ubiqua software suite from our partner, Ubilogix. This is an essential tool for any ZigBee development as it allows you to see the traffic between the devices.
