This enhanced real-time Energy Display is easy-to-use and affordable -- just like our classic EMU™. It also has a sleeker, more attractive design, with a larger backlit screen for easier viewing. The EMU-2™ is powered from an AC adapter for always-on operation, but can also run on batteries as a backup. A USB port has also been added to allow connection to a PC.
The EMU-2™ is ZigBee® Smart Energy 1.1 certified, and uses Elliptic Curve Cryptography technology from Certicom to keep your data secure.
Once you have registered the EMU-2™ with your utility, simply plug in the device, and it will do the rest. The EMU-2™ monitors your smart meter continuously, 24 hours a day.
